Trade fair

How do you capture leads at a trade fair without a badge scanner?

You hold an NFC card against the visitor’s phone, your page opens, and they type their own details into a short form. No scanner to rent from the organiser, no badge standard to depend on, and the contact is in your register before the conversation ends.

01

Give the fair its own card

Activate an Event Pass and the fair gets a campaign of its own, with its own register, its own event name and its own dates. Contacts met at the stand do not mix with the people you meet the rest of the year, which is what makes the follow-up list usable on the Monday.

02

The visitor does the typing

A badge scanner reads whatever the organiser encoded, which is often a name and a company and little else. A form filled by hand gives you the mobile number and the message the person actually wanted to leave. It is slower by a few seconds and much richer.

03

The follow-up leaves without you

A connection email goes out the moment the form is submitted, while the stand is still in mind, and a follow-up leaves a few days later on the delay you set. Both come from your address, so the reply lands in your inbox.

04

After the fair

The campaign turns read only after 30 days: capture stops, nothing is lost. Export the register to XLSX and hand it to whoever runs your pipeline.

Questions

No. LeadShake captures through your own NFC card or QR code, with the visitor filling a short form on their phone. If universal badge scanning is a requirement, a tool like Popl or momencio is built for that and LeadShake is not.
